My patio has a habit of flooding when it rains. Is it possible to harness this water and use it for something?

I don't know the first thing about gardening or irrigation, but I live on the ground floor of my apartment complex and the patio is pretty much three concrete walls attached to the side of the building which means there's no way for the water to flow out since there's no drain in the patio either.

I don't think the maintenance crew will be coming by anytime soon to drill a hole in our patio for the water to drain so I'm trying to think of creative ways to use it. I live in NC so we get rain fairly often.

What do you all think? I'm thinking it's not really possible but who knows!
