[HELP] Leaky kitchen faucet repair

I thought this would be a simple repair but turned out it's not.

My kitchen faucet has been leaking at the handle. I took the handle off and found an orange/red plastic ring broken. Underneath it, there was another white plastic ring. Not sure what those pieces do. Anyway, it seems like the value is held in by a retaining nut (see last picture). The problem is the nut is recessed. No tool that I have can fit into it. I also don't know the brand and model of this faucet so I can't search for the manufacturer manual either. Please help me take this nut off 🙁
